HISTORY OF STV One and All
The completion of STV One and All was the fulfillment of a dream for a dedicated group of South Australians who had been working for years to have a sail training ship operating from the State.
STV One and All was built by W G Porter & Son Pty Ltd at North Haven, South Australia with assistance of a team of enthusiastic volunteers. It was launched in 1985.
Although based on the classic 1850s brigantines, STV One and All is no replica, being constructed of timber to the modern standards of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
One of her first major voyages was the First Fleet Re-enactment in 1987 when One & All joined the fleet at Rio De Janeiro returning to South Australia with them on April 1, 1988.
STV One and All is based in South Australia - servicing Port Adelaide and the regional ports of the state, in particular the Upper Spencer Gulf. She is operated by SA Tall Ships Inc and is supported by a voluntary organisation called the One and All Sail Training Association.
